Two more paintings.

 I had finished two new paintings. They are not as big as the other ones. I am going to post them here, I have no idea what to call them so they have no name.
Any ideas? They will be at the Art shows coming up in this next few weeks.

He acabado dos pinturas nuevas. No son tan grandes como las que normalmente hago pero han quedado bonitas. Estaran en las exhibiciones de las proximas semanas. No tengo ni idea de como llamarlas a si que no estan bautizadas todavia. Alguna idea? seguire pensando.

Upcoming Art Shows and Exhibits

I am very excited about this next couple of months. My art is going to be all over town.

Starting with the "3rd Saturday Art Walk" (this February 18th) at the Downtown Library, in Roseville, CA. It will be there for one month.   Other local artist will have their art there too.

Also at the Roseville Civic Center, on Vernon Street,  from March 2nd to April 28th 2012.

Lastly, at two coffee shops:
- Kona Coffee and Tea in Rocklin.  It's located in Blue Oaks Blvd and Lonetree Blvd.
-Shady Coffee in Downtown Roseville.  The art will be there for the months of March and July.

Estoy muy contenta que en estos proximos dos meses voy a poder poner mi arte por varios sitios en Roseville y Rocklin, California.
Va  a estar en una biblioteca durante un mes, tambien en un Edificio publico que se llama Civic Center, y en dos cafeterias. Que pena que desde Espana pilla un poco lejos para darse una vuelta por ahi.
Me encantaria irme a tomar un cafe ahi con mi hermana, amigos y familia. ;)

Kids Studio of Fine Arts

I just have to share this one more time. We are so lucky to have a place like this in our neighborhood....It's an amazing place for kids and adults, you should check it out. I wish when I was a little girl they had an art studio like this in my town. Our kids really are lucky to be able to go here and play and have fun and learn and express their feelings. The instructors are great and love what they do. And I am not saying that because I teach there. I really love to be part of the studio. If I was a kid this would have been the perfect playground for me . You should really stop by if you have a change. The first time is free, so no worries, just call and came and try a class...

3rd Saturday Art Walk Downtown Roseville

I am excited about this month 3rd Saturday Art Walk. I am going to have some of my paintings in display and for sale Febrary 18th at the Downtown library behind Royers Park. I hope you guys can make it. There is going to be a lot of beautiful art !!!

Huge Abstract painting. Pintura abstracta enorme.

This is my biggerst painting ever, I really really like big paintings. It was challenging and fun at the same time to do something so big.
I love the bold colors. Also I have a thing for Italy and it brings great memories to think about it.
The paintings is 46" x 46".  The picture is not that great.

Esta es la pintura mas grande que he hecho hasta el momento. Ha sido divertido pero tambien un poco dificil pintar algo de ese tamano. Al menos se me ha quitado el miedo y ya estoy lista para la proxima.
Me gustan los colores que tiene. Mide mas o menos un 1.16 metros de ancho por lo mismo de largo.
La foto no le hace justicia en mi opinion, hay que verlo de cerca.

Back to painting.

New Year, new things to try. I just finished this painting last night. It is a new style for me. I had never try to paint something like this, I really like it, it is out of my comfort zone but I am planning to get better and better at it. I really like this Pop Art style and I am very happy with the end result for being the first time...

Here it goes, do you think you know who he is? I hope so, I think the mustache gives it away, jejeje.

Bueno, este ano he decidido empezarlo probando algo nuevo. He pintando este cuadro estilo Pop Art.
No ha quedado mal por ser la primera vez que lo intento, estoy bastante contentilla con el resultado.
Me gustan los colores y lo simple que es. Tambien me gustan mucho sus pinturas y lo creativo que era.
Lo reconoces? Creo que el bigotillo lo dice todo. jejeje

Art at the Civic Center, Roseville, CA

There is a new art exhibit in Roseville, at the Civic Center, on Vernon St.
Local artist that work for the city of Roseville can display their art there until March next year.
I have a couple of pieces there. Stop by to check it out. There are some really cool ones to see.
The opening is tomorrow Tuesday December 20th.
